Problem: neurodivergent people often want to meet others like themselves, and mainstream dating apps make that hard: there is no way to find people who share your diagnosis, hyperfixations and communication style. On top of that, those apps overwhelm people who need predictable, low-pressure communication. Unmask puts diagnosis-aware profiles, hyperfixations and communication preferences first.
Solution: 6-step onboarding, swipe feed and matches; real-time chat with typing indicators and read receipts; Low-Sensory mode and light / dark themes; moderation, profanity filter (PL/EN) and an admin panel.
Architecture: mobile app in React Native + Expo + TypeScript; PHP / MySQL REST API with JWT, Google and Facebook login and e-mail verification; Node.js WebSocket server with rate limiting.
AI & me: I direct the product, UX and architecture decisions and review every change; AI assistants write most of the code under that direction. Built in Kiro (Auto mode), 16.05.2026. Models most likely used at the time: Claude Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6, later Claude Sonnet 5 and Opus 5.
